2012///The Terrestrial Sea. Bio Acoustic Artist Residency. Cromarty, Scotland. A Partnership between IOTA and the University of Aberdeen’s School of Biological Sciences. Supported by Creative Scotland. Lyken worked with the Lighthouse Field Station’s Marine Biology Team for 3 months resulting in two site specific installations within the Cromarty Lighthouse, a soundtrack EP, a collaborative projection on the lighthouse exterior with fellow resident artist Stephen Hurrel, and a live performance of the final work at Inverness Cathedral.
